Throughout this summer, I seem to have been gravitating towards a color palette of black, white, and brown. I’m not sure if it’s a subconscious attempt to create order in a world of chaos and stress or just because it’s easy, but either way, I’m here for it. Every shoe I’ve recently purchased (these gorgeous mules being one of them) and almost every item of clothing has fallen into these three color categories. And you know what? I’ve bought less and probably gotten much more wear out of my summer clothes than I have in past seasons. Going into fall, I expect to do more of the same. I’ve been perusing some new pieces (including the much-anticipated Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, which starts today) and I’m already adding more neutral colors to my shopping cart.
