a holiday dress you can wear all year

I’ll be honest, in the past, I’ve kind of dropped the ball in terms of acquiring new dresses in time for the holidays. I usually just pile accessories onto something I picked up earlier in the year. This year, I actually had the wherewithal to pick up a few party dresses I knew I’d get tons of wear out of during holiday party season. This fun little number had the big puffy sleeves I’ve been eying all season and a holiday-friendly print to boot! I styled mine with kitten heels and a Chanel bag to make it a bit more festive, but the flower print could easily look warm weather-appropriate with high-heeled sandals and hoop earrings.

These photos were taken at the Line Hotel, easily one of my favorite interiors in DC and a great restaurant destination, as well. Their more casual restaurant, Brothers and Sisters, is my go-to spot for getting drinks with girlfriends and catching up over delicious sharable plates like tuna crudo, knife cut noodles, and french fries with a heavenly bearnaise. Their fancier restaurant, A Rake’s Progress, which features a stunning view of their famous organ chandelier, is next on my list!
