a dream bikini from Calzedonia

A few weeks ago, I attended a summer trend dinner with the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City and I absolutely fell in love with this striped bikini by Calzedonia, an Italian label that recently opened a shop in the mall. It basically haunted my dreams for weeks until a friend and I went back to stock up on supplies for our upcoming beach vacation. Not only did they have my dream bikini in my size, they also just so happened to be having an awesome sale with loads of cute swimsuits, all under $50! Needless to say, both of us went home with an armful and some coverups to match. We’ve been wearing our finds nonstop ever since and agreed this was probably the best swimwear shopping experience either of us have ever had. The cuts are all super flattering and the affordability factor is a major bonus.

Fast forward to last week, my friend and I and our families took our beach trip to Cape Charles, VA. We had so much fun in the house we stayed in last year, we rented it again! It was nice to see this charming little beach town has only gotten better since the last time we were here, so I’ll be sharing a little recap of what we did in a future post.
