Not that the outfits I photograph for the blog aren’t “real” per se, but there’s a bunch that I share on IG that never make it to the blog or that I have to photograph later because I didn’t want to haul a DSLR around. The one above is a perfect example – this was a fancy outfit from warmer days for a family party at the George Town Club. I wore an Oasis jacquard dress, J. Crew faux fur stole, Prada pumps, and a vintage evening bag.
Anyway, here are a few more of my favorites from the past few months in their purest IG form…
Good God it’s cold in DC right now! Last week I really tempted fate with these fishnets, even though they were paired with some very sensible (albeit ’90s Daria-esque) DKNY combat boots (these are similar), a Mango military coat, and Mansur Gavriel bag.
My recent fair isle sweater look, which I wore to Pepita Cantina for some afternoon nachos and sparkling wine – a winning combination!
I wore this for a little holiday shopping at the Shops at Wisconsin Place. The sweater is a Marni score from Current Boutique, worn with a Ferragamo belt, RE/DONE jeans, and Topshop boots.
Puffer season in full effect! I wore mine with velvet 7 For All Mankind pants, and my trusty lace-up boots to check out the the downtown holiday market and lunch at Nopa with my family – super yummy!
Probably one of my favorite outfits from recent months and, sadly, I never got around to properly photographing it. I wore this for a very special evening hosted by CapitalOne featuring a tasting menu by Bryan Voltaggio. Since it was chilly, I layered a ruffled Mango dress over Frame jeans with Zara velvet kitten heels.
A denim-centric look from our Thanksgiving trip to New Mexico. I wore an oversized H&M jean jacket, DL1961 skinny jeans, and Topshop western ankle boots.
A concert-going outfit from a great live show we saw at the Lincoln Theatre featuring Josh Ritter and the Good Old War. I love the gilded lobby of this cool old theater so I wore a sparkly vintage pussy bow blouse to match!
This Thierry Mugler blazer is one of my most treasured vintage pieces and the beautiful IG-worthy black and white lobby at the Melrose Hotel showed it off perfectly. I’m looking forward to a fun staycation here next week so stay tuned!
A layered look from a warm fall day at the Waterford Fair back in October. I love layering my anorak over pretty feminine pieces like this print shirt dress. I styled it with a Coach bag and Topshop ankle boots.
More outfits and such on my instagram!

I love all of these! That last one in particular! Oh how I wish I could go out bare leggeed right now, haha! I have an event to go to tomorrow and its partially outside so I’m trying to find something to wear that’s not going to make me look like a snow monster, haha.
And those DKNY boots are amazing!
