I’ve been a die-hard fair isle fan for a long time. I think my obsession started with some beautiful Scottish sweaters my mom gave me in high school that she used to wear in the ’70s. I loved them so much I wore holes in the elbows and unfortunately it’s been hard to replace them. But I was pretty excited when fair isle showed up on every F/W runway this year from Fendi to Loewe. So when one of my favorite knitwear brands, Woolovers, reached out about partnering this year, I knew I had to have this sweater dress. I styled it with a few of my favorite western accessories (the earrings were a recent find in Alamogordo on our trip to White Sands), slouchy boots, and a red fedora to bring back that ’70s vibe I love so much. This sweater is great for layering, too. I wore a variation of this outfit with jeans on Christmas and couldn’t have been more warm and cozy!

being a huge fan of the 70s, I absolutely love this look on you!
This is such a lovely outfit! The dress looks great on you! All the best for 2018
I just love hour aura. Majority of people are fans of vintage apparels. And this clearly has a good history and memory behind it.

Marvellous sweater dress ! how cool that even though it took several years you were able to find a sweater dress that kind of filled the closet gap left by the other sweaters your mom gave you. BTW I love the hat.
