fun sweaters don't have to be "ugly"

I feel like loud, fun sweaters have gotten a bad rap in recent years thanks to ugly sweater parties. Sure, rocking a truly heinous fair isle was ironic for a time, but I feel like that ship has sailed.I’m ready to get back to wearing an eye-catching knit like a grown-up (but one that doesn’t take herself too seriously). I styled this one with cargo pants to balance the bright colors and graphic print. I’m also loving the look of ’80s-inspired knits tucked into pleated pants and worn with high heels for a low-key holiday look. Oversized tunic sweaters are great, too. I’ve had this one for years and worn it for everything from holiday cocktail parties to Chinese New Year celebrations to running errands around town.

I agree! I love my “ugly” sweaters even though I don’t think they’re ugly! I have quite a few that I wear and sometimes people are like “why are you wearing a grandma sweater?” BECAUSE I LIKE IT! And it’s awesome!!! Ha ha

Oh my, what a great sweater!! I love it! And it looks great with olive cargo pants and white ankles boots and love the black bag with it. Awesome! I have similar pants and boots now all I need is this sweater!
