velvet blazer and pajama pants

Looking for ideas for how to spend Valentine’s Day with your special someone? Well what could be more romantic than a fine dining experience in fancy pajamas without ever having to leave the hotel? I relished the opportunity when we ate at Jardenea, the Melrose Georgetown’s in-house restaurant. You saw the beautiful decor in my previous post, but the food is quite good as well. Available in the stylish lobby as well as the restaurant itself, the menu features fresh farm-to-table fare, a great wine list, and delicious cocktails. Our favorites were the sizable crab cake appetizer on a bed of yummy vegetables, the crab bisque with jumbo lump crab fritter, and their barrel-aged Manhattan. Maybe my favorite part? Lazily strolling up to our room with the remnants of our dinner drinks in hand, never having to call an Uber or even venture outside. Dinner out with guaranteed romance! ?

An evening out that also happens to be an evening in sounds kind of perfect. Love the pants, they might be pjs but they are pretty enough to wear out.
