I’ve never been to Vegas and I’m not much of a gambler. As my husband will tell you, the few times we’ve been to the casino in New Orleans I always pay play the 2¢ slots and even then I get mad if I lose more than five dollars. So I never thought I had much reason to check out the new MGM National Harbor. That is until I recently when heard about their fabulous spa which uses Clarins products, one of my favorite skincare brands. Lately, I’ve been less than thrilled with the appearance of my skin and was seriously considering something drastic like a laser treatment, but apparently their Moisture Quencher facial was all I needed. The products they use are much more potent and high quality than what you can buy for retail and the difference definitely shows. My skin literally looked dewy – the texture was smoother and tone was much more even. After enjoying some much-needed “me” time in their private lounge area (I’m such a sucker for beautiful spa decor!), I was treated to a blow dry and style in their salon, which uses Kevin Murphy products (another line that I love). My stylist created the most beautiful soft curls that were perfect for going out to dinner afterward (next time I plan to come back and try some of MGM’s enticing dining options). Currently the spa is running mid-week specials with spa treatments up to 20% off. I’m already considering taking a personal day with a girlfriend for a little mid-week pampering!

Thank you MGM National Harbor Salon & Spa for having me! All opinions are my own.

This spa looks lovely! And I don’t think I would enjoy gambling either.
