Don’t you love weekends when you have absolutely no plans or obligations except to get together with a couple good friends and chill? Ever since having a child, weekends like these have become more and more precious to us. Recently we were treated to one such as these when we met up with our friends at the Right Proper Production House in Brookland – one of those magical spaces that’s equal parts adult- and child-friendly. My friends’ and our children were able to scamper around and play with some of the kids toys left out by the brewery’s owners while we enjoyed some of their always-delicious beers and snacks from the BBQ truck parked outside. I used the occasion as an excuse to wear my new western boots that I’m totally obsessed with (you might have noticed I have a strong affinity for western wear). Paired with one of my go-to vintage blazers, I think it creates a pretty cool, angular vibe if I do say so myself.
