a slip of a dress

When B and I get a date night to ourselves, I always jump at the opportunity to wear something totally not kid-friendly (i.e. silk, satin, anything stain-able). During that crazy warm spell we had not so long ago, we planned a dinner date in City Center – drinks at Centrolina (which had the most delicious Italian cocktails and we made a mental note we need to come back for a meal!), followed by dinner at DBGB. So of course my little pink slip dress had to be taken out for a spin. As I previously mentioned, I love a good turtleneck and the comeback of the ’90s slip dress-over-shirt trend has made me positively gleeful. I wore this look with these pretty drop pearl earrings sent to me by Kristin Perry – expect to see more of them in the future because I’m obsessed with pearls for spring!
