sunset stroll

I’m excited to finally share a few photos from our recent trip to Nantucket, where we were guests of The Wauwinet. These snaps are from the first night, when we arrived just in time for the sunset, perhaps one of the Wauwinet’s best features (though I admit it’s hard to choose). It’s a quick trip from DC – less than an hour direct flight from DCA. We cut it a little close with our dinner reservations in town and the staff was incredibly helpful in procuring us a cab and making sure we made it on time. Our dinner was at The Pearl, which had kind of an Asian fusion cuisine, and highly recommend trying their Wok Fried Lobsters and Fresh Lo Mein, one of their specialties. Afterward, we took a leisurely stroll around town and peeked in some of the shops before catching The Wauwinet’s complimentary shuttle back to the inn. I can’t wait to share more with you about our stay in future posts!
