As part of my “After 5 Event” hosting duties, I had the opportunity to style an outfit from Banana Republic’s always-tempting selection. I seized the chance to snatch up a much-needed summer straw fedora and some neon stripes. Kind of fell in love with this neat little ladylike raffia purse and this military-esque vest thing, too.
In retrospect, I wonder if I’m not one pole short of some fine fishing garb, but this will have to be contemplated further at a later date.

You look so tailored and chic! I love the pink detail on your top, and that raffia satchel is so ladylike.

i'm hosting the event in chicago and bought that vest too! you look awesome and can't wait to see the pics.
Well, a fly pole and a pair of waders would really have completed the look. Seriously, though, nice outfit. I really like the juxtaposition of the little ladylike bag and the military-inspired vest.

Becca [Free Honey]
I pass by a BR on my way home from the gym and I've been eyeing this top for a while. I should pop in one of these days (maybe before my work out so I'm not covered in sweat) so I can scoop it up. Also, these jeans look amazing on you. The photo of you crossing the street – your legs look about a million miles long!
That vest is such a great piece!
Loved your look!
I really like the oufit!
