I love old school Steve Martin.
It’s fun to play tourist in one’s own city. Sunday, B. and I covered quite of bit of ground and actually got to take advantage of our nation’s capital, which we don’t do enough. We started out in the U St. area at Busboys and Poets (this was one of the places Anthony Bourdain visited when he did his recent DC episode of “No Reservations”). It did not disappoint even B., who is generally a food snob. From there, we worked our way over to the Palisades, where we admired the views of the Potomac…
I hate bugs and some flies kept landing on me…really, I’m not insane.
Close up of the shoes, because they have pretty silver embroidery.
After that, we took a long walk up Connecticut Ave. and noted how many creepy animals are lurking about in unexpected places in DC…

I love your outfit, especially your jeans! And the color of your tank top isn’t something I’d usually go for, but I definitely like it with this!
