no dessert until you eat your peas

Sunday Drive by Luke Smalley (via Art MOCO) - This photo exhibition depicts a trio of girls getting ready for a special date with their boyfriends, but this story has an unexpected twist, so I recommend you check out the link with the other photos to see where these girls are headed.

hair sculpture succeed

Andre Leon Talley - 1978 by Dustin Pittman (via Diane, A Shaded View on Fashion) - "I loved working with Andre.  He is the Master of Flash.  The Wizard of Style," says Diane.

a chair carved from paper by razy2 (via MAKE) - razy2 encourages the owner to write on it, tear off pieces of it, and push newspapers and magazines in between its layers so that the chair can change with its owner.

marble (not styrofoam) skull by Fabio Viale (via MAKE)  - Check out the other works on his site.  He does some incredible things with marble, all of which are completely unexpected.
