A follow up to my recent post on rewearing pieces from past seasons… If you somewhere like DC, you probably know this unseasonably warm weather isn’t going away anytime soon. This is why I find transitional seasons are a great time to mix fabrics from the previous season and the next. It not only adds interest to your look, it’s practical, too! This textured wrap skirt is the perfect example of a piece you can work into fall looks while the temps are still warm. To keep cool while updating my wardrobe for fall, I layer my jackets over lighter pieces, like a silk button-down shirt or even a tank top. Then I switch out my sandals for closed toed shoes like pumps or the clogs below!
