You didn’t think I was going to let V-Day pass by without a little date night outfit inspo, did you? We might not go out on Valentine’s Day night proper, but my husband and I do usually plan a dinner date sometime within the vicinity. This year, we plan to take advantage of the long weekend and go out *gasp* on a Sunday! Anyway, I think it’s fun to wear something a little unexpected for date nights. Dresses are cute, but a little obvious. Styling a pleated pant with a sheer top can just as sexy, but with a nod to old Hollywood glamour. I also didn’t go overboard with color. I’ve found that just a few gold accents can dress up a look and adding this Lovard gila head charm to a vintage gold chain instantly makes a whole new necklace. My point? A cool date night look doesn’t need to be complicated – a little restraint goes a long way.
