Day-to-night weekday cocktail attire seems to be the fanciest I get nowadays, but sometimes the stars align in such a way that I actually have an opportunity to wear a dressy dress. A couple weekends ago I had such an occasion and went straight for this asymmetrical Mango dress that’s been sadly ignored in the back of my closet. I don’t know about you, but black and gold are one of my favorite “fancy” color combinations, so it was very easy to just load this little dress up with gold accessories and go! The belt is a vintage piece from a thrift store ages ago and the asymmetrical earrings are yet another fabulous Mango find. I cannot speak highly enough of their earring selection right now. Seriously, snap up a couple because they’re dirt cheap and they look so high-end!
