I think we safely agree it’s now officially wintertime. I spent the majority of last weekend bundled up and scampering from one heated building to the next. Thankfully, I had this super toasty lambswool poncho that WoolOvers recently sent me. Honestly it’s easily as warm as a down vest, but much more chic.
The one upside of spending the winter in DC is that it drastically cuts down on tourist traffic, making it the perfect time to visit some of my favorite museums (also a great excuse to get the little one out of the house when he’s going stir crazy!). On Sunday we visited the US Botanic Garden – a must-see during the holiday season, just check out my photos from a past visit. If you want to see the wonderful train exhibit, get there early!

Yep! We had a really mild fall/winter and then got hit with the snow and cold temps. But not to worry–today’s high is 60! Gotta love CO. I also love this gorgeous knit you are wearing!
