Keswick Hall

As I mentioned in my last post, we spent a lovely weekend in Charlottesville with Southern Living and the highlight was definitely staying at Keswick Hall. A beautiful Virginia estate decorated in classic hunt country style (totally my bag!). Little J was very spoiled as this was his very first hotel stay and I think it’s safe to say the bar has been set very high! The bed was like a cloud and I had the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a looong while. Our room looked out onto the rolling hills of the golf course and we woke up to the most gorgeous view of the sunrise. Oh and did I mention there as a clawfoot tub in our palatial bathroom? You better believe I took advantage of that. And my breakfast frittata (which was delicious) was once again nicely framed by the incredible view. Perhaps it was fitting that it rained on the day that we left because it was very sad to leave!
