Nothin’ fancy. Just an easy outfit for a Mother’s Day picnic at Glen Echo with the fam. I remember coming here to ride on the amazing carrousel when I was a kid, but I hadn’t been back in ages. Luckily it’s hardly changed since then – it’s so well-preserved that you feel like you’re walking into a time warp.

You always get the most amazing feeling when something is just the way it was when you were young–and the fact that that building is still there is incredible. So many things are torn down and rebuilt it's hard to know you're in the same city sometimes!
Your jeans are the prettiest shade of pale green, and I love your sweater!

I live in Baltimore and love making trips out to Glen Echo – though I never went there as a kid. In Baltimore we had The Enchanted Forest – I have so any fond memories of that place! I haven't been to Glen Echo in a while and this pictures make me miss it so much. I especially love the trolley and the marquee sign. Thank you for sharing these lovely pics!

@Sarah I'm so glad you enjoyed them! Now I'm intrigued by the Enchanted Forest – I love these old relics!
