Friday Night DIY: disco nails

Friday Night DIY: disco nails

The moment I saw this captivating photo, I knew I had to have these nails. Thankfully, the wonders of Twitter delivered a quick solution to a lazy DIY-er like myself. Insta-response from Twitter friend Erin pointed me to this DIY and then the necessary supplies. I admit I was frightened when these first arrived with more detailed instructions than I had anticipated, but the whole process was definitely do-able, even for a nail art-challenged person like myself.

That Jak and Jil photo is probably one of the coolest photos taken in the history of the world. Ever. I thought it was just really ridiculously expensive nail polish. Or tin foil glued on.

That's awesome! As a lover of nail polish (most bang for your buck interchangeable accessory I know of!), this is so up my alley. Thanks for sharing your find 🙂

I think the sephora nail thingies had a silver one too, it just had an anchor or something stupid at the end that you could just chop off. So lovely!

Wow, what a beautiful result! Your shawl and accessories make great accents to the picture as well. Will have to try out the nail foils sometime.

Your nails look so great. It seems really simple to do.

there's possibly nothing better than pretty nails… but they can be so distracting. if i had those nails, that ring, those bracelets, that clutch- i'd probably just sit and stare at them all day long. and get nothing done. and be happy.
