Visiting wineries is fast becoming a theme on this blog. This time we visited La Grange (our favorite of the day), Barrel Oak, Philip Carter, and Aspen Dale Winery at the Barn. All were picturesque and the weather could not have been better (for this time of year). Pastels seemed appropriate.
Caught a photo of the elusive B. I actually take about as many photos of him as he does of me, but he likes to keep his internet presence to a minimum.

It looks like such a fun outing! And it makes me miss living in the Bay Area and having access to all of that stuff. Now if I want to visit a winery it's usually in the basement of a little General Store in Mennonite country…
And I love your floral skirt! It makes me think of spring with its soft colors and print.
I just love the BA 🙂
Absolutely beautiful outfit! Everything about it is perfect. The color of the leather, the floral, the softness. lovely!
what fun weekend activities! sadly in colorado we only have breweries, which are fun, but not as stylish!
the pastels are great – thanks for sharing!!
I had so much fun doing a winery tour last summer. I'd do it again in a sec.
Great photos, spectacular location!!
I love the colours of that outfit, there is something very gentle about your look in these photos. Yeah yeah that sounds odd I know, but its not meant to be as its such a fab look!! 😀
What is very odd for an experienced wine'o and an Aussie is seeing snow at a winery! 😀
I adore this outfit! It's so so pretty 🙂 The lighter colours look gorgeous on you.
Love the combination of pink and tan leather.
Love the silhouette shot of B… very dramatic.
Your outfit is so cute… love the skirt. xoxo
Love Ur dress…So romantic…
By the way can you borrow this cardi? 😀
got the same vest, love it so!
I just love all the cream colors going on in this outfit – very romantic. 🙂
That sweater is divine and looks perfect over the dress! xo

The sweater is awesome! At first I couldn't tell whether it was a jacket or a sweater… I love it! 🙂 Yay for wineries! haha
This is JUST the palette I've been dreaming of for spring – soft pastels and caramel-colored leather. Yum!
Whining and wining…my two favourite things! I love the colours of this outfit… it will be spring soon, dammit!
Beautiful pictures…. color scheme is one of my faves-

I've recently gotten into a few wine bars in Dallas. They are just so relaxing and chic, I love them. I'm hoping to do a wine tour this summer!
very stylish and chic look. I like such feminine combinations. The sweater is very nice. very original. And the color of the shoes is just gorgeous to me.
I can't wait to go on my first wine tour/ tasting. I hope to do one for my 21st.

Glad you had a fabulous time!
I love your H&M sweather and boots! 🙂
I was melting a bit with envy over your sweater. Then I saw that it's from H&M. It's such a heartening thing to know that normal people with a normal budget have a chance of looking fabulous within their price range!
LOVE that sweater! So adorable and it looks comfy!
such a lovely outfit E! beautiful colors, and perfect for a winery =)
Beautiful pictures, the light is really striking! Looks like a great time. I love these lighter colors for spring – really pretty, especially with the tall boots.
I'm visiting DC this Friday-Sunday. Any awesome restaurants you recommend, or wonderful shops? I'd love to get an insider's scoop and I so admire your taste :).

i have yet to visit a winery or even a wine tasting… this post looks so classy! you're right – your usage of pastel colors is subtle but you stand out against the scenery. fantastic!
I work in a small wine shop in Alexandria, and we do VA winery but trips with our customers a few times a year to get them out to local wineries. You should definitely give Linden a try if you haven't already and the people at Fabbioli Cellars could not be better! Glad to see support for the local VA wine!
*oops! bus trips I mean!
this is such an amazing outfit! so different – and i love the play of soft and structure, xx
Wow, lady, you have really outdone yourself here!!! I am so in love with the color combo here! And I love that it is still appropriate for the weather. So fab. You rock it.

I've never visited a winery before. It looks like it would be a lot of fun.
Spring is here! What a great cozy, warm springtime outfit!
I've only visited wineries twice that I can rememmber, and it was fun. I should definitely make the effort to do so more often.
