One more Spring ’09 collection that has inspired me for my island vacation…
Oh my lord. What kind of crazy upset in the cosmos has caused this miracle of fashion? Has Raf Simons eaten magical candy or ventured inside Willy Wonka’s factory? Wondrous things are happening at Jil Sander and I cannot wait to see what happens next! I have always adored the timeless minimalism of the brand (and wished upon a star I might one day own a piece of it), but this year is so new. The most fabulous thing about this progression is that it is still the unaffected-by-trends elegance that is Jil Sander. Now I can only sit back and wait for the less expensive spin-offs and Yoox sales. *le sigh!*
