I just got back from a week-long, action-packed conference. Lots of dinners, events, and tons of walking. Pants and tops had to be versatile and shoes needed to be comfy. Here’s what I wore:

We’re just returning back from a wonderful ski trip at @okemomtn in Vermont, but I hear we might be seeing some snow around DC, too. I guess I’ll be keeping my mountain clothes close at hand (like this warm fair isle sweater I recently nabbed from my dad’s closet — what a gem!).

It wouldn’t be the holidays without a festive dinner with the girls and we couldn’t have chosen better with @osteriamozzadc. Divine pasta dishes, an extensive mozzerella selection, and excellent with wines — I wouldn’t have expected anything less from @starrrestaurant’s latest abode. Nothing fills my soul like a full belly & great conversation and this spot was perfect for both!

An impromptu dinner date at @salutpirouette might be the best gift the universe could give us this season. We’re lucky enough to have this gem nearby, but honestly it’s worth traveling for. Between the delicious menu that’s always been refreshed with new surprises and the in-house wine shop you can peruse with no corkage fee for dinner, it’s probably the most reasonably-priced high end meal you can find in the area. A great spot to celebrate (really anything) this season!
