B and I checked out Pump Me Up: DC Subculture of the 1980s at the Corcoran last weekend. Having grown up in the DC area, I've been waiting impatiently for this exhibit to open. If you're at all familiar with Go-Go or the DC hardcore scene, you'll probably enjoy seeing the old photos and posters. Personally, what I found most interesting was the background on popular graffiti artists like Seven and Cool "Disco" Dan. Their tags are fixed upon my adolescent memory as part of the DC landscape, so it was really neat to see relics of these ghosts of my childhood.
This exhibit runs until April 7 so go see it while you can!

Completely obsessed with this coat and so sad it's vintage because that means I can't go buy it! :(

Those rings are so cool and I adore that vintage coat.
I LOVE that coat!! I actually just bought a similar one a couple weekends ago, except it's actually an oversized blazer, ha ha :)

Love that watch!
Cool boots Miss!
That coat is so amazing! I love how you keep the rest of the pieces simple and minimalist to let the coat pop.

Oh, and those Rag and Bone boots are also my dream pair!
So I love your rings. I tried to make something similar out of copper plumber's tubing but it failed in comparison. I might have to splurge!
The Occasional Indulgence
Love this look-- the plaid, the black and white, the gold :)
