An outfit for cocktails with G. of Tulle and Combat Boots at Northside Social, where I regaled her with thrilling tales of trips to the DMV and we commiserated on the trials and tribulations of the dreaded "work wardrobe." Good times.

I am apparently all about the flats lately. Also all about this dress, which I recently acquired at Eclectic Threads. I love that it simulates a skirt/top ensemble, thus requiring very minimal thinking.

How excited are we that's it's the weekend?! Whatcha all up to? Fun plans?

7 for All Mankind jacket
vintage '70s dress
Madewell, thrifted, and Lou Lou bangles (fun neon here and here)
Michael Kors watch
Zara sandals
purse from a random boutique
toes in Essie 'lilacism'

  6. I'm yet to do the whole 'wearing a top over a dress to make it look like it's a skirt' look. I always admire when one does it.

Anywho, you look cute. Per usual.

  7. I was about to tell you I loved that skirt, but then I read about how it's a dress. That's so perfect! Minimal thinking indeed. Your hair always glows so magically in the sun, kind of like a Disney princess's. So pretty!

  10. There is definitely something very school girly about this outfit. I absolutely love the skirt. I remember wearing skirts like that when I was younger, so adorable.

    You look lovely as usual.

  13. What a unique color combination on the plaid dress! I love that you wore it as a skirt as I think with vintage plaid dresses most of the time I think I get "plaided out"
    Pretty!
