It’s been a while since I did a home-related post, but I’m back on the hunt for inspiration after fabric shopping for living room pillows. Maybe I’ll share the final product when I’m “finished,” (is any room ever truly finished, though?). Anyway, since patterns have been on my mind, I find myself scouring the internets for interesting combinations. I’m always fascinated by how people balance prints.

All of these combinations are so delightfully unexpected, yet they mesh as if they were made for each other. A joy to look through 🙂

I too love bold prints! My only fear is that I get tired of them faster than solid colors :/

Very cool decorations. I wish I wasn't such a matchy-matchy person.

Fabulous inspiration. I tend to gravitate towards neutral palettes, but an interesting print can always add so much personality to one's home decor. Can't wait to see pics of your finished product.

All of the Moroccan inspired images are EXACTLY what I want my living room to look like. I picked up all these textiles while in Bali this summer that I have been intending to turn into pillows and just haven't. Your images make me want to run out and do it right now…

I have been watching way too many renovating and decorating shows lately, and I got a lot of inspiration for my own space. But I don't think I'l ever be this good with mixing patterns…though the chevron couch and toile wallpaper seem a little more attainable for me, and would definitely make a space that I'd have a hard time leaving!

These are all great. I would love to invest in some great living room pillows, but right now our sofa is more "comfort" than "style." And no, no room is ever really finished!

I could move immediately into each and every one of these rooms. Especially love the Bokja furniture. The prints are amazing and I love how layering the prints against other prints (wallpaper, pillows, etc) creates such a rich and textured and complete design.

I love houses with a lot of information going on. Colorful walls, furniture, fabrics, etc. I feel like it seems warmer.

Each and every single one of those images inspires me, and I would love to inhabit those spaces. My husband is a Scandinavian-style-loving-minimalist – I'm an Indian-style-big-print-big-colour-lots-of-everything maximalist! It ain't easy.
