Who would have thought a little ol' shirtdress could be so elegant? And in such a seemingly "blah" color, too... Leave it to one of my favorite lines, Trovata, to deliver the unexpected understated.
This was my outfit for birthday dinner with B at Sushi Taro. I've been dying to go for a while now and it didn't disappoint. Our eyes might have been bigger than our stomachs when we ordered the "sushi tasting," but it was totally worth it. Our waitress appreciated our stamina, too :-)

That dress is lovely. I think the cool belt and rockin shoes help pull it all together. I have, well had, a similar shirt dress (albeit shorter and satiny) that I gave away because I just couldn't work it. Leave it to you!
