This week (month) has started out strong to very strong blog-wise. Today I received the most wonderful surprise in my inbox from Rachel Nhan, the ridiculously talented and creative blogger behind VisualBasic. She created these beautiful (and super-flattering) drawings of me, not to mention she chose three of my favorite outfits of late. It's crazy to look at these amazing works of art and think, "holy crap! That's me!" Kind of like seeing yourself in superhero form. Check out the full post here.
I'm also thrilled to have been named a Chictopia Style Icon, which is pretty much the pinnacle of my fashion blogging career. Chictopia is one of my biggest sources of inspiration and has always been such a fun and supportive community to be a part of, so to be recognized alongside some of the most stylish fashion bloggers really means the world to me. Stick a fork in me. I'm done.

bravo E. Not surprised at all, since you have always stood out beautifully from the crowd, but delighted for you all the same. You're stylish and unique, but you've also put a lot of effort into documenting your life through a fashion lens for years, and that should be recognized too. Well done!
