I was lucky enough to get to style one of Banana Republic's ridiculously versatile dresses from their spring collection. I know this is going to sound trite, but this is the ultimate "day to night" piece. Sheer and floaty enough for date night, yet soft and roomy enough for lounging around on the porch, which is pretty much what it was used for this weekend. Kind of a no-brainer to style, too...

gifted Banana Republic dress
Surface to Air leather jacket
Christopher Kane for Topshop clutch
vintage bracelets
green amber ring from Biarritz
random rings I believe from Colorado, but who knows at this point
disco nails
Maison Martin Margiela shoes

The airy dress with the edgier jacket is gorgeous! You have some amazing asymmetrical pieces in your wardrobe that you've made so versatile, I love it! And I'm kinda diggin those heels a lot.. :)

that shot of the hemline is fantastic. You can really see the cut and quality of the dress, and I love how the sunlight highlights its sheer quality.

I honestly love that jacket of yours. I want to find a perfect jacket, just like yours with a little edge, that I can wear with my Spring dresses.

Very nice, I love versatile clothing, which is why I look at things now and ask myself can I wear it in winter (or summer), for some things I find I can and that opens up so many ways to style an outfit.

I'm really enjoying the hard edge of the leather jacket against the soft, flowing dress. And - I can't get enough of the shape of those shoes. Nice work!

i don't think my brain can compute the fact that your dress is from BR! i love the asymmetrical hem, and the way you mirrored that in the hem of the jacket.

Love this whole look! Esp. the shoes and bracelets/rings!
What I like about the shoes is that they are not quite ankle booties but not quite a pump- and yet they look so sleek
The mix of jewelery is perfect too
