Moving has me absolutely physically and mentally exhausted, but I love our new house and exploring the neighborhood. Not having a functional kitchen for a few days has given us the excuse to check out some local establishments. We hit up Eat Bar on Saturday night, which we’ve been meaning to try for ages, and it might be my new favorite upscale bar. Great cheese selection and B's broccoli fettuccine was light and fresh, with a nice bit of heat. Crisp & Juicy has been a delicious take-out option with all the moving activity. Also had a yummy cinnamon croissant from Pastries by Randolph Sunday morning.
Somehow this has ended up being my going-out uniform of late, even though I can’t help but feel it’s a bit, erm, shall we say “Miley-ish.” Though having forgone some sort of corset deserves a pat on the back.

PS Sorry I’ve been a little out of touch the past couple weeks – little-to-no internet access. Fios man came today and I’m praying to the Internet gods that it is the land of milk and honey that I have built it up to be in my head. Though, to tell you the truth, it could be two cans and a piece of string and I would be happy just because it's not Comcast.

I am definitely with you on the exhaustion from moving. It never occurred to me that I had so much stuff until I had to box everything. So many memories! It's tiring.
