Lady Don't Tek No

Lady Don't Tek No

You never know how versatile a piece of clothing can be until you get a chance to play around with it. I never would have thought of this zipper top as essential, but it's safe to say that now I firmly believe it is. I'm enamored with the scuba-like quality of the zipper and the wonderful bright color. So many possibilities...

H&M dress
vintage necklace worn as a bracelet
Pour la Victoire shoes

ah, you say scuba zipper and i'm sold! i love it so very much. the colour is especially great.

and i know whatcha mean by taking a first glance at a piece of clothing and thinking "nope, not wearable". i had me a trip to a local secondhand/bargain store and i bought a few pieces like that. the fun thing is working around it and finding combos that go.

which you did very well!

I love that Topshop top. Probably also because it's one of the colours I like most but also those ruffles! And it looks good on you!
And the dress is so lovely! I've seen more people with that dress/skirt and it so great. Unfortunately, I was too late to buy it myself xD

The color definitely pops! And what sorority were you in? I thought about doing it but now I'm a senior-it's already too late. I'm pledge mommy when school starts. I'm thinking of doing some kind of fashion charity with our rush t-shirts!

And I was wondering, what's your name? I was going to write EEEEE to emphasize how excited I am..but it just looked weird! :]

I love the last few outfits you've had! I'm always at a loss for what to wear when it gets hot. :(

To answer your question, I used an Olympus camera for the Paris and Naples pics... I don't remember the model number, but it's pretty old and it's a regular point and shoot digital camera. It had the world's SLOWEST shutter, but it did take really nice photos. I have a Casio Exilim Z70 (digital point and shoot) now, and that's what I used for the DC photos. Thanks for your compliment -- it totally made my day. :D
