Black and brown is one of those color combinations that feels a little bit naughty and a little bit bad. One of those rules that you were told never to break you were younger, but then you grew up and decided you could think for yourself (damnit!). Sometimes it feels good to be bad, no?

Love that skirt! The plaid mixed in with the paisley is so unexpected! And agreed, black and brown is the best! 😀

That skirt is really nice, love the fringey hemline. And yes, black and brown why not when it looks this good.

I have to say, I HATE this rule more than any other fashion rule. Black and brown happen to look SO GOOD together. I often wonder who came up with this damn rule haha. Anyway, this is a lovely outfit and proof these two colours mesh well. I definitely enjoy breaking this ‘rule’!!

Oh how I adore this look. Black + brown isn’t a combo that I’ll usually lean towards. The highest I can do is black + cognac or black + tan.

I am such a fan of this jacket, lady- so good!

If a leopard can wear black and brown together, than why can’t I? That has been my logic for quite some time, and I really love the combo, and your bohemian skirt and the boots are working so well, I feel like I could never pull that off!
