Rolling hills, lush gardens, and a dreamy salt wat Rolling hills, lush gardens, and a dreamy salt water pool — the @goodstoneinn has the quaint country setting with the thoughtful amenities of a luxury resort. (Honestly, “inn” sells it short.) My favorite things: • a room that was just as cozy as it was luxe • taking my coffee in the garden and listening to the birds • geeking out over all the vegetables and herbs grown in their on-site sustainable garden • meeting many cute animals on the farm (that donkey! 🥹) • enjoying the most delicious eggs for breakfast direct from their chickens • hiking their 200+ acre property on one of the many beautiful trails • stargazing by the fire pit after dinner I actually went to high school just down the road from here and have always been curious about this fabulous place. Thank you Goodstone for offering me and my husband a lovely anniversary stay and bringing back many great memories of spending time in this area. The ski/snowboard conditions were not their finest The ski/snowboard conditions were not their finest in Breck this year (or anywhere else out west for that matter), so we took as an opportunity to spend our afternoons exploring more of what the town and surrounding area had to offer. My favorite moments: • Seeing @thomasdambo’s crazy 15-ft tall troll sculpture made of recycled materials. Layering jewelry and accessories in gold or silver Layering jewelry and accessories in gold or silver is such an easy way to make a simple black outfit look instantly fancy. I always love wearing my silver pieces out west. I’m lucky to have a mom and mother-in-law (both with great eyes for jewelry) that have helped me build my collection over the years. The necklace is a 1940s Navajo squash blossom and the silver feather earrings are from a little shop in Alamogordo, New Mexico. I wore this for an amazing Italian meal at @radicatobreck on one our last nights in Breckenridge.
