I don’t know about you, but I’ve fallen hard for the oversized sweater vest trend. I snapped up this one back in September and it’s been such a fun piece to play with. This quirky piece might seem a little daunting to style, but it’s surprisingly approachable. I like it layered over oversized button-downs (I’m wearing my husband’s above) and styled with trousers. It also looks cool over shirt dresses with knee high boots over even an oversized t-shirt and jeans. I added some more inspo photos below. Which one is your favorite?

I would have never thought of sweater vest as such an elegant item before I’d seen these photos, but with right cut and styling it can really look glamurous and feminine in the best way <3

I’m not sure I could pull off the sweater vest without looking overly bulky – there was definitely a time – maybe 2012? – when I was all about sweaters over button downs and looking back, I don’t think it was working. But then here you are making it look effortless!
