I love me a mini bag. One might argue they’re incredibly impractical, but hear me out. First, I like to think of them as evening bags, but for day. Sure, you might not be fitting a dayplanner in one, but it will hold a phone and your lipstick for brunch. Heavy handbags are bad for your spine, anyway. Dare I go a step further and say the mini bag is actually good for you? I know I’m guilty of overloading my day bag with unnecessary crap. A smaller one (like the one I’m wearing above) actually requires I narrow it down to the bare essentials before running out the door. It certainly doesn’t hurt that they’re typically more affordable and a great excuse to have fun with color to add an unexpected pop to your outfit. I’ve linked a few of my current favorites below!

Agreed! I love using my smaller bags! And some of them can even fit my external phone charger and cord (but not my phone, haha!)

I LOVE my mini bags! It took the switch to a super slim leather wallet to make them work on a day to day basis, and lots of reconsideration of the essentials, but I’m not giving them up. Sometimes I like having a bag big enough for my camera, but really, all the cute bags are mini.

That is such a cute mini bag! I find mini bags great for the essentials – I’m usually with the kids so having my phone and wallet easily reachable on my (especially if it’s a crossbody!) is so helpful. The rest of the stuff you need for travelling out the house with kids is in the baby bag usually, haha!

Hope that your week is going well 🙂

I love your outfit, the sweater and the belt are so cool!
Mini bags are very impractical, but I feel really proud when I manage to carry my things in a light tiny bag 🙂

I also love a mini bag, not so practical but then at least you can put your essentials in it and not carry around too much lol xx

I totally agree. Plus, a big (shopper) bag can ruin your outfit. Imagine wearing a glamorous gala dress while carrying a giant bag… not that classy anymore!

I love the whole mini bag trend! I carry so much rubbish my bags, so smaller bags force me to only carry around essentials! I love yours xo
