I’m all about quality over quantity lately. Since Rent the Runway Unlimited has changed my shopping habits, when I do buy things, I want them to be pieces that are timeless and that will last. So when Lafayette 148 reached out about partnering for the grand opening of their new store at Tysons Galleria, it was a natural fit. Their pieces are classic, well-made, but with a subtle artistic flare that I truly appreciate. For the event, I chose two pieces that embody what I love about the brand: this beautiful striped dress and large stone statement necklace. The dress is made with a scuba-style fabric that drapes perfectly across the body and has a lovely swing when you move. And while the large stone necklace pops against the pattern of the dress, it’s really one of those wonderful statement pieces you wear with a tank top and a blazer to create a cool, unique look. Both pieces are items I plan to hold onto for years to come – unique enough to stand the test of time and trends.
Have any of you worn Lafayette 148 pieces before? I’m curious to know what you think!

Ooh love both of those pieces! The flow of the dress is great. And that necklace is amazing!
I have yet to try Lafayette 148 but I’ll have to see if any stores around here carry it so I can try some stuff on
I loved this post
This dress is amazing!
What an elegant look, and that statement necklace really is such a stunning piece! Trying to fill you closet with pieces you will want forever really is the goal.
Chic on the Cheap
This is a great dress, the uneven hemline is the star here.
It is worth to invest in high-quality pieces that are made to last. I love this dress, it’s so elegant and sophisticated at the same time!
