I don’t know about you, but when the temp drops below 20 degrees outside, I get the equivalent of writer’s block when it comes to cute outfits. My brain literally cannot compute anything beyond jeans and boots. Terrible blogger admission, right? Well thank God for fun sweaters like this one that get me through the temporary droughts. I stumbled upon this Marni gem at Current Boutique right before the holidays and the price was so reasonable my eyes almost popped out of my head cartoon-style. When I saw the shoulder accents and oversized buttons on the sleeves, I immediately thought how perfect it would look with a high-waisted skirt. But with current conditions as they’ve been, that ensemble will have to wait. For now, I’m happy to settle for sensibly-warm casual with a few fun pieces mixed in.

That sweater is so much fun! And I’m the same way, when its so cold all I want is sweaters, jeans and boots! I almost wore a dress yesterday but it was just too darn cold!

Cosy knits like this are the best for winter, especially with fun little details! 🙂 Don’t feel bad about wearing the outfit formula frequently either, you need to be warm! 🙂

Hope you are having a good week so far, and a lovely start to 2018!

Oh my gosh, I would get like that too. Comfort would be the end-goal, and nothing says comfort more than big warm sweaters and familiar denim jeans.

Great job with this outfit! Honestly, I resort to wearing couch potato clothes during the winter because my fashionable clothes aren’t usually the warmest.
