Don’t you love those moments of closet serendipity where two pieces from completely different walks of life sync up as if they were always meant to be together? I recently benefited from such a happy occasion when a new Zara skirt fit perfectly with a vintage blazer I’ve had for ages. Vintage pieces have always been an integral part of my wardrobe so I get a special satisfaction out of giving them new life when trends come back around again. The plaids might not be an exact match but I’ve never been much of matchy-matchy person anyway.

Zara turtleneck
vintage blazer (try this one)
Ela Stone ring
Zara skirt
Mango boots (sold out, close match)

You could have fooled me, these pieces look as if they were cut from the same cloth. And I do agree, it’s so lovely whenever new life gets breathed into vintage pieces.

Oh my goodness, I totally thought that WAS a suit–they really do work perfectly together! It was meant to be. I love how the boots toughen up the look too.

Oh wow, they actually match. I like the frill detail of the skirt too aside from the plaid pattern. You look corporate and elegant, this is perfect for my work.
