the perfect one piece

Since our son is getting a little older and absolutely loves water, we’ve been making an effort to take him to the pool and recently took a beach vacation with friends. So there’s been no time like the present to stock up on swimwear and, in reviewing my current collection, I realized I was in sore need of a classic one-piece. I tried a bunch, but pretty much died and went to heaven when I stumbled across this asymmetrical beauty by Alix. I love how the sleek black color accentuates the cool cut-outs without being overly trendy. I also think it makes for a cool bodysuit top when styled with shorts or a skirt. When I wore it at the beach, I often layered a sheer sweater over top so the interesting shape was still visible underneath! Are you feeling the one-piece trend like I am this summer?
