Would you believe me if I told you I wore this to a “family happy hour?” Oh how times have changed. But props to the parents that organized it, because it was pretty hard to beat the fabulous weather we had on Sunday and what better way to spend it than with family and friends? Onto more pressing matters – how do we feel about cropped, frayed denim? I have to admit I was dubious at first, but now I see the merits. For one, it’s a great excuse to show off fun sandals, like this Tabitha Simmons pair I picked up late last summer. Secondly, it works well for transitional temps when you’re not quite sure if it’s warm enough to bare the entire length of your legs yet. Thirdly, this pair is super-affordable for non-committal types like myself.

I LOVE the cropped frayed denim. Can’t believe that pair is from H&M. So chic with your black and white shoes.

Looove those sandals! And I like frayed bottom denim but don’t own any yet, haha. But now you have my contemplating fraying the bottom of my white jeans, maybe that would make me actually wear them
