More photos of our New Mexico travels. These were from Thanksgiving Day and B’s parents’ current menagerie of adorable animals (how cute is their new dog, Daisy?). Adding to the blanket/shawl thing, my other favorite winter travel accessory would have to be an oversized statement scarf like this one, especially when it doubles as a quasi-top, as it does in this instance. If I were as talented as this lady, I might not have needed to pack anything else.

Echo scarf (very similar)
Target top
silver and turquoise bracelets (love this one)
vintage belt (cool alternative here)
H&M jeans
Zara heels (pretty pair here)
Mansur Gavriel bag (similar)

That shawl is so fun, love that you can repurpose it to be a top!

What a great way to wear the shawl/scarf!!! Those animals are too cute–I love goats!

I've seen the shawl-wrap with a belt a few times this season, a friend of mine pulls it off beautifully as well. Maybe I'll have to give it a try sometime. Also, digging the silver & turquoise jewels!

I feel like the belted scarf was big a few years ago, then it died down, but lately I've been seeing it quite a bit again, and I've got just the shawl to belt…

Love all these sweet animals! It must be so fun to visit them all!

Just had a little freak out over these animals. Gotta love those furry little guys and gals.

Your blanket/shawl thing is incredible. I love how you made it the center of your outfit. <3
