Well the nice weekend was more short-lived than I had hoped, but the crappy weather today encouraged me to get some boring things done around the house. Luckily we were able to take advantage of the warm-ish temperatures yesterday and have a few people over for green chile stew (will post the recipe soon!) and cocktails around the fire pit.

I’ve had this top for quite a while and kind of forgot about it. Not sure why. I’ve always loved the ornamental flourishes around the neckline and sleeves. As for the outfit, I guess my longing for spring has me thinking about loose-fitting, bohemian-style clothing. Can’t wait for a chance to wear lighter fabrics!

Oh, so loving this outfit. The hat the blouse the bell bottoms and the clogs, just all too cute and very 70s. I am in search of a similar summer hat. Just can't decide on the color. Leanning towards dark khakish. Love your black one though.

This is a fantastic look, head to toe (literally). The shape of that blouse works so well with the flared jeans and clogs, and the hat is just the icing on the cake. Brava.

If there's one reason I'm excited by the coming of warmth–it's to start wearing my hats. And to buy more! A lovely hat like yours is a great way to pull together an outfit.

You wear hats so well!

I loved having a fire pit when I lived in Houston. During the cold months, we'd have dinners on our rooftop and just light a small fire and chatted. Now, I just have a fireplace picture I downloaded from my Mac store as a replica.

Have a good week!
