What to wear when the temperatures refuse to raise above freezing? It boggles my mind how the Swedish girls look so stylish in eyeball-chilling temperatures. Do I look cold in these photos? I was. No amount of layers are ever going to keep my eyeballs from freezing out of my head. Or maybe that will be the trend of the future… eye-muffs. You read it here first, my friends. Years from now, eye-muff-wearers everywhere will look back on this post and think to themselves, “yes, this was an innovator, misunderstood  in her own time, the Godmother of Eye-muffs.” And with that deep thought, I believe it has passed my bedtime. Goodnight.

You don't look cold, you look fantastic. Usually when the weather gets too cold, I give up on style and just go for warmth, but you look so chic here – it's making me embarassed for past cold-weather style sins!

wow, I love this! So cute šŸ™‚

Eyeball chill is the worst! But you look awesome and kudos for wearing fishnets… Come winter I live in between 2-3 layers of opaque stockings.

Gorgeous! I love the colors in that scarf! Sign me up for the eye-muffs.

I love looking at that site for cold-weather inspiration. You nailed it! Those boots are incredible and I love wearing socks over my tights for extra warmth.

eye muffs šŸ˜€ I'd prefer a facewarmer! I defend myself against cold with multiple layers; for example, long sleeved top underneath the blouse + wooly cardigan; cotton tights + wooly leggings. ugh, winter is so freaking annoying. meh.

anyway, you look beautiful (and a little cold, too :D), this outfit is simply gorgeous!

You don't look cold E, you look amazing! I love everything about that outfit.

I do wonder, how can you stand bare legs in below freezing temperatures? I'd be whimpering and crying if I tried that look.

Before I even got to the writing portion of your post, I though to myself, "how the hell does she not look cold? I live near DC, she lives in DC… we're having the same weather here. And that weather is downright frigid."

It's true. I thought all that. You don't look even the slightest bit cold–you look freaking fabulous. As usual. Can you please share some of your fabulocity?

Goggles. That is what we need to protect our eyeballs. We could be very steampunk about it and make it work. I think they would definitely go with that beautiful scarf.
