market to market

This weekend has been all about regrouping, relaxation, and, most importantly, good food! B and I checked out the Arlington Farmers’ Market on Saturday. I wish I had taken more pictures. It’s such a feast for the eye. We’re quickly becoming Arlington converts. I loved the Dupont Farmers’ Market, but it could be so terribly crowded and parking wasn’t exactly an option. The Arlington one seemed just as abundant and was a much more relaxing experience.

There was a mushroom vendor with a selection that was out of this world! We got a basket of mixed varieties and they were delicious!

I’m in love with these elegant drapey flowers – anyone know what they are?

I got a half-smoke, which was incredible. It had sauteed onions, pesto, and mustard on it, all of which came from vendors at the market.

How do you like the Heathers-style croquet outfit? It’s scary how that movie seems to be an endless source of  style inspiration to me. Thankfully, no red scrunchies yet.

I’ve had this pocket watch forever. I used to wear it constantly in middle school and junior high. I was thrilled to rediscover it the other day.

I agree that the cardigan looks both Chanel-esque and Heathers-esque. I love the leather shorts and I definitely want to know about those flowers because they are gorgeous!

I've never seen Heathers. I feel like I'm missing something. But I love farmer markets. It's one of those thing I enjoy since I'm from a state big in agriculture. I found some great veggies and got cotton candy. It wasn't very healthy but it was yummy.

I'm so jealous of people who know about food and cooking… I used my stovetop for the second time in eight months yesterday though and I think it might have been partly inspired by you!

I love this cardigan. I have a similar one in navy blue.

Heathers was my manifesto when I was 16. I should be embarrassed by that, shouldn't I? But if it led to you looking so awesome, I must still contend that it has some solid power. Solid. Legs for days, too, my lady.
