There’s something about the 4th of July that makes one want to be colorful. Perhaps it’s the sparklers and fireworks, but that’s how I feel every time July 4 hits. This year, we had an amazing action-packed fourth that included, but was not limited to:

  • playing 4+ hours of intoxicated Trivial Pursuit
  • eating the most delicious homemade smoked ribs in a long time
  • seeing the fireworks from the best seat in the house – the roof of a row house in Gtown
  • watching a friend inexplicably back flip off a chair (twice) at a very crowded bar, completely by accident. Then, after the second mishap, hearing a bystander say, “well now he’s just doing it for attention.” Classic.

How was your 4th?

Forever 21 tank
American Apparel tank
Seven for All Mankind jean jacket
DIY shorts
jade necklace R got for me in China
bangle from Glover Park market

I love your outfit. the colours are so bright and pretty. I'm from Canada so our national holiday was July 1st. I spent it working going through my mom's antique with her. Not overly exciting, but ok.
