XYZT: Abstract Landscapes just launched at new gallery space, Artechouse. Inspired by nature and created by French digital artists Adrien M & Claire B, each piece reacts to movement, breath, or touch. I was able to preview this new interactive exhibit and it’s sure to be the Instagram hot spot of the summer.
Nothing says summer like an outdoor crab feast and the Quarterdeck is one of the best places in the DC area to get them while they’re in season. If you’re not into shucking your own crabs, order the crabcakes. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Make sure to call ahead for reservations!
Another great outdoor drinking and dining option is the Yard at the Ritz Carlton Georgetown. I checked out this beautiful garden oasis last week and it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a cocktail and a snack after an afternoon of shopping. (For the launch party, I wore geometric earrings, Alexander Wang dress, Alexis Bittar bracelet, Zara sandals, and Sophie Hulme bag.)
In the mood for Spanish food? Take advantage of the awesome weekend happy hour at SER and order a tray of charcuterie with a glass of their delicious sangria. Stay for dinner and try one of their three different paellas!
Last but certainly not least, I’ve been obsessed with this Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate Palette in “Scintillate.’ I was never much a blush or bronzer girl, but this the perfect hybrid of both and blends beautifully with pretty much any skin tone. I use Eco Beauty brushes to apply.
Tune into my instagram for more weekend adventures!
