You never know how precious a night out can be until you have a child. Not that I don’t love spending as much time as possible with my little one, but sometimes it’s nice to have one-on-one time with your significant other. The fine folks at the Ritz Carlton offered us a wonderful opportunity to do that last Saturday night at Quadrant. This above average hotel bar hit all of our checkmarks: delicious whiskey cocktails, a tasty snack selection, and (perhaps the highlight) phenomenal live music. The night we went we were treated to a fantastic flamenco guitar band that had me tapping my heels on my bar stool. Wearing another unintentional off-duty ballerina look with this tiny-strapped dress and oversized sweater. I love an outfit like this that’s comfy enough to sleep in, but easy fancied up with a pair of heels.

Urban Outfitters choker
Express sweater
Genuine People dress
Ela Stone bracelet
Stuart Weitzman heels
vintage velvet bag (love this one)

Such a great way to layer a slip dress! I really like the lace up detail on the back of your top too 🙂

Sounds like it was an awesome date night 🙂

Hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend 🙂

I love the silhouette of your long top over a mini skirt, it’s something I never would have thought of but it looks amazing! And the black and pink combo is really cool. Whisky cocktails are the best – it sounds like you had an amazing night! xx

I love the satin skirt and I love the colour!! I was looking for a pink pleated satin skirt and I couldn’t find one I love.

What a lovely opportunity to spend some time together – you certainly dressed perfectly for the occasion! I adore the Genuine People dress and how you’ve layered a jumper over top.

You look lovely in that outfit! I always love black and pink together. It looks feminine and fierce at the same time. 🙂
