Fun fact: one of the few things about your body that’s actually better during pregnancy is your hair. Or at least that’s the way it was for me until about 4 months after I had my baby. Then I started to shed hair by the handful :-/. It’s all growing back now (slowly but surely), so I’m trying to take care of it and keep it healthy and strong. Shu Uemura recently sent me their highly addictive Ultimate Remedy Extreme Restoration Treatment that I’ve been using regularly and was pleasantly surprised to find it deeply conditions my fine hair without weighing it down. It also keeps my hair shiny and manageable on humid days.

Oh and the outfit – I wore this somewhat Greek-inspired ensemble on a particularly hot and muggy day (wistfully dreaming of some breezy Aegean island climate instead) when I met a good friend for drinks and snacks at Marble & Rye. Their Hummingbird cocktail is super refreshing!

Mine wasn’t particularly thick to begin with either, but everything I hear is that I will go back to normally eventually. Just wish it was sooner rather than later!

I just got my hair done and was talking to my stylish about how awesome hair is during pregnancy. One of the few positive side effects. 😉 I am not looking forward to loosing it since I don’t have much to begin with! I am loving the silhouette of this look. The longer top with your cropped flares is great.

Great white look – I did not know that your hair got better while you were pregnant however I had heard that how it just begins to fall in copious amounts after birth.
