Our NYE this year was considerably more subdued than it has been in recent years due to the fact that we have a little whose bedtime we would really like to occur well before midnight. Even so, I still love the excuse to look a little fancy, so we had a nice lunch with some friends instead. We went to one of our recent favorites, Peter Chang’s for some spicy Szechuan food (read Tom Sietsema’s review here). We highly recommend the scallion bubble pancakes, dry-fried eggplant, crispy pork belly, and the hot & numbing combination. Hope you all had a good post-holiday weekend!
